Car Seat Test Study Bead

This “tire” bead represents the important milestone of passing the Car Seat Test!

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a car seat test for all babies born before 37 weeks gestation or for babies who are less than 2000 grams at birth. The car seat test makes sure that premature/small babies are able to sit in a car seat safely, at a 45-degree angle for a 90-120 minute period without any episodes of apnea and bradycardia.
